Ghia was born in Beirut in 1974.
She grew-up in Paris and has been living in Dubai since 2006.
After graduating from European Business School (EBS) in Paris in 1995, Ghia joined Kimberly-Clark and
worked in the Personal and Health Care products until 1999 most specifically in sales and marketing.
She then moved to Dairy Crest (Dairy Foods Company) and worked there for 7 years in marketing on
food products where she launched different product lines. From 2007 to 2009 Ghia devoted her time to
Recettes de Vie charity book.
She then joined Al Tayer Group in Perfumes & Cosmetics before thinking again about her personal
projects.
Ghia is currently working for Piaget as Marketing and Communication Director Middle East, India and
Africa. Ghia is married to Julien Hawari and they have 5 amazing boys: William, Melvyn, Yann, Matthew and Leo.

Maissa was born in Beirut in 1977.
She grew-up between Lebanon, France and Canada and lived in Paris, Beirut, Montreal, Toronto, Dubai,
London, Cairo, Istanbul and Barcelona.
After graduating from Concordia University in Montreal in 1998, she joined SEARS then L’Oréal in
Canada, then moved to Paris and joined Kenzo Parfums (part of LVMH Group) in sales, marketing &
training. In 2003, she joined several regional companies in the UAE in the Beauty Industry; she then
moved to the family business in 2009.
Maissa is the 3rd generation of a family business, member of the Board of Directors of HOLDAL. She is
also the Chief Sustainability Officer and she has been heavily involved in the Group's transformation
journey since 2010.
A proud wife and mother of 3 children (Lila, Robert Luca and Thomas), Maissa is passionate about change
management, sustainability and social impact. She recently graduated from the Advanced Management
Program – IESE Business School (University of Navarra).

Recettes de Vie a project filled with Love and Emotion by 2 mums compiles the best-kept culinary secrets of their family and friends, who are keen to share, give and transmit values and traditions.
Through Recettes de Vie, Ghia & Maissa aim to help the widespread Lebanese community while leaving a legacy for their children.
100% of proceeds from the sale of the books are donated to 31 NGOs helping women and children in Lebanon.
